@ Lisabeth Mountain – Great info to share. Yes cooked bones are bad because they will act like splinters and can get lodged in a dogs intestines etc. Raw food is great as long as it is handled properly. Thanks for sharing!

When our dog had puppies we gave her calcium (actually TUMS with calcium inside of chunks of hot dogs so she wouldn’t spit it out) I would also recommend RAW chicken bones. remeber no cooked stuff, cooked chicken bones are bad for dogs but the raw stuff is just fine. Go to a delli and ask if they’ll give you their spare stuff (its not like they have any use for it)
